Ghanaian international striker Bernard Arthur was on target for Azam FC in a friendly with Friends Rangers as he opens his scoring account with the Tanzanian giants.
Arthur shot himself into the hearts of the Azam fans after he rose to the occasion to score from a close range to draw level for Azam in the 68th minute after Friends Rangers had broken the virginity of the game.
Arthur completes his move to the Tanzanian giants from Liberty Professionals on a two-year deal last month.
Arthur, 20, is the fifth Ghanaian player to have joind the East African side after netting 11 times in all competitions on the domestic front.
He has was signed as a replacement for compatriot Yahaya Mohammed, whose contract was terminated last month.
He joins fellow countrymen Daniel Amoah, Enoch Attah Agyei, Yakubu Mohammed and Razak Abalora.
