Kayserispor midfielder Bernard Mensah returned from suspension to register his name on the scoresheet in their 1-1 draw with Ankaragucu on Saturday.
The Ghana midfielder has missed the Blood and Gold lads last three games due to suspension handed to him by the club.
The 25-year-old was reported to have flouted the club’s rules after growing frustrated over the lack of financial entitlement.
He has not hidden his desire to leave the club following the treatment meted out to him by the club.
The former Atlético Madrid midfielder was consequently missed their 2-0 loss at Fenerbahce.
Mensah was recalled into the side by coach Robert Prosinecki and he did what he does best by emerging their best player on the pitch.
He opened the scoring from the spot in the 23rd minute before Alihan Kubalas grabbed a point for the visitors in the 68th minute.
Mensah picked a yellow but lasted the entire duration.
