Ghanaian attacking midfielder Bernard Mensah made an instant impact on his debut for Al Riyadh SC in the Saudi Pro League after scoring and delivering an assist in the 3-3 draw at Al Wehda.

The 29-year-old, who joined Al-Riyadh during the week, registered his first goal just four minutes after entering the pitch, heading home from a brilliant Toze cross to cancel Al Wehda's first-half strike.

Al Riyadh were reduced to ten men eight minutes later after Al Nowiqi was sent off before Craig Goodwin added his second to give Al Wehda the lead on the hour mark.

The visitors responded with five minutes remaining after Ibrahim Bayesh met Lucas Kal's pass.

Deep in extra-time Murad Khadhari gave Al Wehda the lead but Mensah delivered an inch-perfect pass to Kal for the leveller with the final kick of the game.

Mensah, who netted 14 goals and served two assists last season while playing for Al Tai, will be expected to lead the Al Riyadh team in the new campaign.
