Besiktas Board gets green light to buy Daniel Opare from Porto

Besiktas Coach Slaven Bilic has finally given the Board of the Turkish club the green-light to open talks with FC Porto over the acquisition of Ghana defender, Daniel Opare, on a permanent deal, Dailysoccerghana.com can confirm.

The club’s top officials were awaiting Bilic’s decision on whether the 24-year-old will be in his plans for next season before negotiating with Porto based on the buy-out clause in the ex-Standard Liege man’s contract.

Since joining Besiktas on loan from FC Porto in January, Opare has not only revealed his desire to sign a permanent contract with the Black Eagles but has also been impressive, making 7 appearances for the team recording 1 goal.

Opare recently picked up a hamstring injury forcing him to miss the Istanbul derby against Fenerbache.
