Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Adjei-Boateng has signed for Finnish champions KuPS on a free transfer, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The former Manchester City player has signed one-year contract with an option for another one year.

Boateng has been without a club since terminating his contract with MLS side Colorado Rapids in July, 2019.

''This is a good step for me and I will show how good a player I am and everything I can do,'' Boateng said.

He described by saying: ''I am a midfielder and the best role for me is where I get to participate in the game as possible over a wide area.

''I am physically strong and running buttery player, but I can also make an incursion close to the penalty area and to score goals.''

Adjei-Boateng spent four seasons at Norwegian side Strømsgodset IF after joining them in 2012 on loan from City.

The former Right to Dream player scored 18 goals in 101 appearances across all competitions.
