Bissah resumes training after break

Ghanaian Olympic Gold Medalist, Martha Bissah has commenced a 30 kilometer daily training after her achievement in the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing China.

The teenager, who was decorated with a gold medal after winning the 800-meter race in Nanjing took some time off to see her family just after the games.

Although the Ghana Athletics Association (GAA) was yet to fulfill their promise of helping her to get scholarship to further her career in the United States of America (USA), the teenager is taking no chances as she has begun running and training with her coach.

Bissah said she was ready to achieve more after her excellent outing in the youth Olympics. “I don’t have to wait for somebody to tell me to train and we are in a society where you cannot trust anyone so I have started training and I will continue to keep my shape well before any major international competition begins next year.”
