In what is turning out to be the most bizarre story of this season’s Ghana Premier League, title chasers Aduana Stars and Kumasi Asante Kotoko played an entire first half with ten players each.
On the team sheet of the two teams were 22 players but strangely only twenty players participated in the first half.
The very unusual situation was not because the referee dished our red card to the two players or they sustained injuries but because of superstition.
The two teams entered the pitch with the full complement of their teams but Farouq Adams and Martin Antwi withdrew to the pitch side and spent the entire 45 minutes on the sidelines.
However the duo joined the team in the second half in a very dramatic fashion.
Report I got from Dormaa on why the two teams are playing with 10 men each
