Black Challenge trip to Japan in limbo

Ghana Amputee Federation’s trip to Japan for their international friendly is likely to hit a snag after the federation failed to raise funds for the journey.

With barely a month to the commencement of the Amputee World Cup in Mexico, the Ghana National Amputee Football team wanted to use this international friendly in Asia to prepare the team ahead of the games.

12 players with 5 officials were expected to embark on the Japan journey on Wednesday 29th of October after securing their travelling documents.

Officials of the Black Challenge have lined up three international friendlies with Japanese clubs to test their preparedness ahead of the world cup.

Meanwhile, three players based in Turkey are also expected to join the team for the trip.
