Ghana U-23 side the Black Meteors defeated Division Two side Shooting Stars in their last preparatory game ahead of Saturday's Olympic qualifier against Gabon.

The game ended 3-1 with goals from Joseph Painstil, Osman Bukari and Daniel Lomotey for the Black Meteors. Randy Boakye Yiadom got the consolation for Shooting Stars.

The friendly enabled head coach Ibrahim Tanko assess his full squad for the first time after augmenting his team with some foreign based players.

Tanko had earlier on trained with local based players.

This will be the Black Meteors last preparatory game before they take on Gabon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

UD Numancia midfielder Yaw Yeboah reported to training this morning after joining the team on Tuesday evening.

Kick off for the game is at 3pm.
