Head coach of Ghana’s U23 side Ibrahim Tanko has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the team ahead of U-23 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt.
The team is expected to leave the country for the tournament which runs from 8-22 November.
Ghana open their campaign against Cameroon on the opening day before facing Egypt and Mali on 11 and 14 November respectively.
The Black Meteors will be eyeing one of the three slots to book qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
According to Ibrahim Tanko, the team will need massive support from Ghanaians to execute the task.
