Ghana women’s Under-20 star Ernestina Abambilla has signed her first professional contract with Belarusian Women’s Premier League side FC Minsk on a long term deal.
Abambila, 18, moved to Youngstown State University (USA) following impressive performances at the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup in Costa Rica where the Black Maidens were eliminated by Italy in the quarter finals.
The former Hasaacas Ladies midfielder was also a key member of Mas-ud Didi Dramani’s side at last years FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup in Papua New Guinea where the Black Princesses suffered a group stage elimination.

She joins fellow Ghanaian Faustina Ampah at Minsk.
FC Minsk are 4 time Champions of the Belarusian Women’s League and are currently top of the table with 11 matches played. They are also regularly participants in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
