Ghana’s U-20 female team, Black Princesses hammered their counterparts from Kenya 5-0 in the first leg of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies attacker Priscilla Adobea was the heroin for the Princesses who are now on the verge of making it to the next round of qualifiers.
Adubea scored four times with Helen Obeng getting the other for the African giants.
Helen Obeng opened the scoring after 16 minutes before Adubea got two more goals to end the first half.
Back from recess, the Black Princesses took over from where they left off in the second in half by dominating play leaving the Kenyan defense in tatters as Adubea scored two more goals to hand Coach Yusif Basigi’s side a rounding victory at the Cape Coast Stadium
The team will now travel for the reverse fixture which will be played in Nairobi in a fortnight time.
Ghana is chasing a sixth successive appearance at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup having appeared in the last five editions of the competition.
