Black Queens - Still a lot of work to do

Accra, June 1, GNA- Head Coach of the Black Queens, Yussif Basigi has admitted that there's much work to do in the team as they search for a ticket in their maiden appearance at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil next year.
The senior women national team has set a date with Cameroon in the final round of the qualifiers following a 4-1 goal aggregate after the first leg ended 1-1 in Cairo.
Basigi believed that, though his side gained victory over the Lady Pharaohs of Egypt, the attack still needs more sharpening to utilize chances when created.
He said "we still have more to do by sharpening our attack. We could have buried them in the first half because we had had lots of chances which we couldn't utilize. And for that reason, we are going to sharpen our attack, midfield and every department of the team''.
He added that, they played a difficult game against a good side but his tactical brilliance surpassed them.''I already knew it was going to be a difficult game because they are not a bad side. They came with a tactical ploy but we were able to upset them because for sure we knew how they were going to play.
"Their plan was to sit back and take us on counter . but we also made sure that we protected the defense very well so that we will also take them on counter which we did exactly and it worked for us. Individually, we are ahead of them tactically. So we combined both the tactical play and the individual play''.
The 43 year old emphasized that, his charges hungry for qualification will motivate them to pick a slot in the summer games.
