Ghana U-20 Coach Jimmy Cobblah says he is happy to lead the Black Satellites to qualify for the Africa Youth Championship in Niger next year.

The team qualified after a 1-1 draw with Benin in Cotonou, and progress 4-2 on aggregate.

The home side opened the scoring through forward Bio Odo Chabi, but Ghana restored parity through WAFA midfielder Prosper Ahiabu five minutes to end the game.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah was full of excitement and praised the discipline of his players for coming back from a goal down to draw 1-1.

"We are very happy to qualify. I am very excited," he said after the game.

"When you consider the kind of troubles we went through, the atmosphere and having to come from a goal down. I think the boys were determined and God helped them," he added.

"As you can see the boys are so disciplined, and football is about discipline and before your tactics will work unless your players are disciplined," he concluded.

The Black Satellites, who are two times African Champions failed to reach the last edition in Zambia two years ago hence missing the FIFA World Cup.

However, with qualification sealed, the team will now switch it's attention to qualifying for the World Cup.

Ghana joins Niger, Burkina Faso, Burundi , Mali, Nigeria, Senegal and South Africa for the Africa Youth Championship in Niger next year.
