Management committee chairman of the National Under-20 team Alhaji Yaya Sadugu has revealed his team is well poised for victory against Senegal in the 2017 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers.
Ghana’s bid to reach the Africa Youth Championship, slated for Zambia suffered a huge blow after a disappointing 3-1 defeat to the Young Lions of Senegal in Dakar two weeks ago, but the satellites are bent on making amends.
The satellites who beat their U-20 side of Burkina Faso last weekend, seem ready to beat Senegal for a place in Zambia.
Speaking to Metro Fm, management committee chairman of the Black Satellites Alhaji Yaya Sadugu confirmed his lads are ready to do battle this weekend at the Cape Coast Stadium against their Senegalese counterparts.
“The boys are fully prepared with determination, confidence to win the game to qualify.” He said.
The Black Satellites need two unanswered goals to overturn the 3-1 deficit from the first leg to advance to next year’s African Youth Championship qualifier in Zambia.
