Ghana U17 team will undergo a final MRI test conducted by CAF ahead of the start of the CAF U17 qualifying tournament.

Ghana was forced to make last minute changes to its squad after conducting their own test which saw two influential players – Adam Saad and Emmanuel Bio – disqualified.

CAF will, however, conduct final test for all the teams to ensure that all players are of the standard.

The MRI qualification grade by CAF has been set at 5.

Ghana is in Group A alongside hosts Niger and Togo.

Only the winner of this tournament will qualify for next year’s U17 Africa Cup tournament to be staged in Tanzania.
