Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah embarks on scouting mission

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has embarked on a two-week overseas scouting following his side’s double-header international friendly losses to Mexico and USA last week.

The Black Stars are expected to arrive in Ghana this week but coach Kwesi Appiah has instead decided to stay on in the US to monitor some budding talents he discovered during the team's trip.

In an interview with Graphic Sports, 56-year-old coach revealed, “I’m still in the States trying to monitor some other players here instead of returning home and embarking on that exercise later.”

When asked to disclose the names of the players he discovered, the former Al Khartoum trainer said, “I’m keeping it a secret. Hopefully, in two weeks I’ll be able to monitor all the players.”
