Black Stars drop in latest FIFA ranking

Ghana dropped a place down in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released Thursday.

The Black Stars are now placed at 24th in the November edition of the ranking.

Ghana, are still ranked second-best on the African continent behind Ivory Coast with Algeria and Nigeria following in third and fourth in that order.

Kwesi Appiah's side, who have qualified for a third-straight World Cup have also seen some points chalked off their tally. The Black Stars now have 849 from their previous 860 points.

In the overall world rankings, Spain are still at the number one spot as Germany climb to second with Argentina in third.
