The Black Stars will play in a newly-designed jersey when the Africa Cup of Nations starts in Angola early next year.
Puma, the best apparel sponsors of Ghana’s national team ever, have unveiled the new paraphernalia for the continental tournament.
Just like the many of the African teams, Ghana’s shirt is manufactured by Puma and follows the same template as the others.
The shirt is mainly white featuring green trims around the edges of the shirt and also features a faded black star on the top right part of the shirt since the team is nicknamed ‘the Black Stars’.
The national emblem is placed on the top left while the Puma logo is placed on the top center part of the shirt.
Ghana are currently first in Group 4 of the African Nations Cup qualifiers and looks like they are going to finish as Group winner after winning four matches out of four played.
Ghana have scored 7 goals and conceded nil.
Ghana have won the ANC four times with the last one won in 1982.
