The Black Stars of Ghana underwent their last training in the country on Wednesday evening ahead of Friday’s FIFA World Cup qualifying game against Comoros.
Coach Avram Grant had all 23 called up players available as he and his team trained at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The senior national team of Ghana started training on Monday where the session was ineffective due to the uncut grass at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana Premier League club Liberty Professionals got their grounds personnel to get the park ready for Tuesday’s training after captain of the side Asamoah Gyan threatened the Black Stars would boycott training if conditions don’t change.
Grant had 21 players available on for Tuesday’s training before Phil Ofosu-Ayeh and Harrison Afful joined the squad for the last training in Ghana on Wednesday.
The team are scheduled to leave Accra for Comoros on Wednesday night ahead of their game at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh in Moroni on Friday.
