Black Stars rank 24th worldwide?

Ghana have moved one place up on the latest Fifa ranking to occupy the 24th spot ahead of this month’s friendly matches in France.

The Black Stars, who were previously occupying the 25th position, could improve their ratings on the next Fifa ranking to be released on April 12 if Avram Grant’s side is able to clinch wins in the friendly matches against Senegal and Mali.

The warm-up games are scheduled to take place on March 28 and 31 in Le Havre and Paris respectively.

Ghana have maintained the 3rd spot on the African ranking table behind Algeria and Afcon 2015 winners Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile, the top five teams on the world raking table are Germany, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and Netherlands.
