Ghana slips three places to 24th in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released Thursday.
The Black Stars, who were ranked at 21st in the previous month - June - have suffered from the recent FIFA Confederations Cup that was played in Brazil and won by the host nation, World Cup qualifiers and 29 friendlies were played in the past month.
Aside the drop, Ghana also lost 57 points from their accumulated tally as the Black Stars now have 830 points.
However, Kwesi Appiah's team are still ranked second on the African continent behind Ivory Coast with Mali in third place. In the overall world rankings, Spain still hold onto the number one spot ahead of Germany, with Colombia leapfrogging Argentina to third.
