The Black Stars will leave for the United States on Friday instead of Saturday, as initially announced, as there has been a change in their travel arrangement.
The Stars, currently on non-residential training in Accra, are billed to play two international friendlies against Mexico next Wednesday and USA on July 1.
Coach Kwasi Appiah on his re-assumption to the Stars job led them to 5-0 win over Ethiopia in their 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier two weeks ago and is expected to name his 23-man squad from the 30 men invited for the US trip.
Already, Stars deputy skipper Andre Dede Ayew and his younger brother, Jordan, are out of the squad, following permission from their respective clubs, Aston Villa and Swansea.
Kwasi Appiah has invited US-based Mohammed Abu and David Accam to join the team when they arrive in the US, and has also indicated that the focus of the team will be on their rebuilding exercise more than a desperate bid to win.
