Deputy General Secretary in charge of Communication at the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saani Daara has confirmed that the entire technical and playing body of the Black Stars will be at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, June 6 to support Hearts of Oak in their CFA Confederations Cup tie against Esperance.

The Phobians will be hoping to overturn a 4-0 deficit suffered at the hands of the Tunisians in the first leg tie played in Tunis a fortnight ago.

The Black Stars are expected to start training in Accra later this week ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius this month.

The team will start non-residential camping in Accra on Thursday, June 4 and Saani Daara says as a show of support, the Black Stars will be at the stadium to encourage Hearts pull off what will be a ‘miraculous comeback’ in African club football.

Hearts of Oak is the only remaining Ghanaian club in African club competition after Kotoko were kicked out of the Champions League in the initial stages.

If Hearts overturn the 4-0 deficit to beat Esperance, they will book their place in the Money Zone of the Confederations Cup, a competition they won in 2004.
