Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom insists new Jiangsu Suning manager Cosmin Olariou gives the team the urge to go all out in games.

The Romanian boss replaced Fabio Capello in midweek and he masterminded Jiangu 2-1 win over Tianjin Teda over the weekend.

Boakye who netted a 75th-minute penalty in the game stated that Olariou gives them the conviction for success.

“Olariou gives us self-confidence and ambitions for win, although he only took over his position last week,” Boakye told his club’s official website.

The Ghana Black Stars striker also lauded his teammates and fans after his debut goal in Chinese football

“Thanks to my teammates and fans,” he added.

Boakye joined the Jiangsu Suning from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade for a reported fee of 7 million Euros despite interest from a host of English clubs including Everton.
