Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is confident of impacting the huge experience he got at AC Milan on Schalke.
Boateng spent three successful years at San Siro winning the Scudetto and rose to become a key element of the side.
Now in Germany, Boateng has revealed his intention to help lift the Gelsenkirchen side with his huge experience.
“I had three important years at Milan. I gained a lot of experience there and now I want to pass some of that on,” Boateng told Bundesliga.com. “We’ve come on an awful lot, we've got a proper team spirit and any problems are being addressed directly.”
He added: “They're all pieces of a puzzle that's coming together now. We're winning games, we're more consistent and we're working with the necessary discipline.”
Schalke can end the season in second place should they win a couple of their last games.
