Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he rejected a summer move to Lazio – a decision he doesn’t regret.
The midfielder was signed from Portsmouth by Genoa, before being instantly sent to Milan, but only after contemplating a move to the capital.
“I was a step away from joining Lazio,” he told the Messaggero newspaper. “I met with President Claudio Lotito, but I turned him down.
“Seeing how my season has gone, I have no regrets.”
Boateng is on the verge of winning the Scudetto seeing as the Rossoneri need just a point from their three remaining games. Milan are also still in the Coppa Italia hunt.
