Bofoakwa Tano FC, to implement safety measures to control the spread of Coronavirus in their arena

Division One League side Bofoakwa Tano has institutionalized safety and awareness mechanisms to ensure the safety of their fans during their home matches by the institutionalizing a mandatory application of Alcohol-based sanitizers and the provision of handwashing points at the entrances before granting spectators entry to their stadia.

Coronavirus disease which is spreading day in a day out in over 114 countries worldwide affecting huge population of about 118,165 with some isolated and countless death over 4290 is truly a serious disease which needs to be tackled.

Bofoakwa Tano is the first club in Ghana to implement such a laudable initiative to help guide and protect its fans in this sad state of the world.

“ We are our brother's keepers, and very much conscious of the health status of our fans, that’s why we are implementing a mandatory process for good hygiene which will help us control and tackle this spread of Coronavirus diseases which is spreading day in and day out

"We surely believe this safeguard measures can assuredly provide a healthy environment for your spectators as we await further directives from the GFA,” said the club’s General manager and a member of the Division One Management Committee, Mr. David Obeng Nyarko.
