French born Ghanaian defender Enock Kwateng has expressed delight in Bordeaux good start to the year after their victory against Le Mans in the French Cup.
Kwateng was introduced in the 65th minute as the Navy Blue and Whites crushed Le Mans 2-0 to progress in the Cup competition.
"Very happy to have found minutes and completion! Well done guys, 2020 has a good start! Work continues. Thank you to all the supporters for the strength you give me every day! I will continue to fight. Go Bordeaux," he posted on Social Media after the game.
Jimmy Briand's 53rd minute penalty and Toma Basic's injury time goal was enough for the Ligue 1 side to progress to the next stage.
The 22-year old has emerged a subject of interest for former club FC Nantes, who are interested in re-signing him after losing him in the summer.
He has played 8 French Ligue 1 games and one French Cup match for Bordeaux.
