Ghana will now play Bosnia-Herzegovina in a World Cup preparatory match in March, according to the match organizers.
The Black Stars were originally scheduled to play South American finalists Uruguay on 3 March but the latter pulled the plugs.
The match is being arranged in Nelspruit by the Mbombela Municipality to open the newly-built 46,000-seater Mbombela Stadium.
The pitch at the World Cup stadium has had to be re-laid because of insufficient drainage, officials said on Tuesday.
Ghana have also line-up friendly matches against Argentina and Holland in May and June ahead of the finals.
The Black Stars are in Group D against Germany, Serbia and Australia.
