Bournemouth have identified English-born Ghanaian striker Eddie Nketiah as a potential replacement for Dominic Solanke, who recently joined Tottenham Hotspur.

Dominic Solanke's departure has left Bournemouth short in attack ahead of the 2024/25 season, prompting the club to explore options to bolster their frontline.

Eddie Nketiah, 25, has also been linked with a move to French club Marseille this summer. Arsenal initially sought €35 million for the forward, but negotiations stalled as Marseille failed to meet the asking price, despite Nketiah's willingness to reduce his wages to facilitate the transfer.

With Marseille considering alternative targets like Youssoufa Moukoko and Elye Wahi, Arsenal lowered their asking price to €30 million for a loan deal with an obligation to buy.

However, Marseille's interest remains at around €25 million, leaving Bournemouth with a potential opportunity to secure Eddie Nketiah’s services.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has hinted that Eddie Nketiah will stay.

According to Transfermarkt, Eddie Nketiah's current value is €30 million.
