Bernard Fetrie, President of Super Entertainment Boxing Promotions (SEBP), has cautioned other promotional syndicates in the country to stop luring his boxers with cash incentives.
Fetrie said that “I have observed with keen interest attempts by Baby Jet and McDon Promotions to lure boxers from my camp to fight on their bills.
“I am the sole promoter of Braimah “Bukom Banku” Kamoko and Joshua Clottey and I decide when and who the boxer fights,” he stated.
According to him, Baby Jet and McDon Promotions must act professionally to avoid generating unnecessary disputes in the industry.
“”I will not tolerate any unprofessional conduct from any boxing promoter in Ghana. I am aware of attempts to entice Kamoko with huge sums of money to fight Bastir Samir.
“Any promoter interested in that fight must seek the consent of SEBP, before taking the necessary steps or they may end of wasting resources.
SEBP has a three year promotional contract with Kamoko.
