Breaking News: Paintsil’s ‘stolen’ car with wife

Information available to Sportsinghana.com indicates that footballer John Paintsil’s Infiniti SUV vehicle reportedly ‘stolen’ from his residence in Accra is with his estranged wife, Richlove Paintsil, and is not missing.

Media reports earlier this morning had it that Paintsil woke up on Christmas Day to find out that his exclusive Infiniti JX35 2013 model valued at $45,000 was missing from his fleet of cars at his Trasacco Valley residence in East Legon.

The Santos of South Africa defender reportedly also lodged an official complaint to the Police in a bid to retrieve the car.

But a reliable source close to the Paintsils confirmed to Sportsinghana.com that the vehicle is in the safe hands of Mrs. Paintsil, and there has not been any theft as previously speculated.

The latest development is another twist in the estranged marriage of the Ghana soccer star who in February was arrested by the Police over allegations he stabbed his wife and was charged with assault and causing bodily harm.

In a dramatic twist however, Richlove Paintsil later denied all the allegations against her husband insisting it was merely a domestic quarrel not worth public consumption.
