Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah admits Cordoba's clash against Mirandes in the Spanish second-tier league on Sunday will be tough.

But the 28-year-old remains defiant about his side's chances against his former club.

The two teams will go at each other at the Estadio Nuevo Arcángel with victory crucial for the promotion-chasing side.

It's an all familiar fixture for the Ghana international as he battles his former club and he admits it will be tough.

"It's going to be very hard. I know their coach very well. He gave me a lot during my time at Mirandes," he said at a presser.

"We are in Archangel, and we must win, whoever the opponent.

"They are a strong side and can pose problems. I know how they play and I will give my colleagues some clue on how to beat them.

"We are going to try to make things better. We know that we are Córdoba, and we have a great team, but we have to work in the field."

Cordoba are second on the table with 33 points from 18 games
