Bukom Banku whips Aryittey Powers

The Judgment Day bout has ended as Braimah Kamoko a.k.a Bukom Banku gave Aryittey Powers some lessons in boxing, winning by a unanimous decision.

The none title cruiserweight bout after months of controversies, postponements and disappointments came in style as Bukom Banku walked into the Accra stadium with a coffin expressing his intent of finishing Aryittey Powers, while Powers, on the other hand, was high in spirit.

Through the twelve rounds of exciting but a fairly unbalanced bout, as Bukom Banku dominated every aspect of the fight and Aryittey Powers slipping twice, the Judges scored the bout 117/109, 119/100, 120/108 all in favor of Braimah Kamoko.

A crowd of spectators had amongst them former President Rawlings and wife Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, boxing legend Azumah Nelson, former world title holder Iyke Quatey and Accra Mayor Alfred Oko Vanderpuije.
