Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has emerged a transfer target for English Premier League sides West Ham, West Bromwich Albion and Burnley.
The former Waris is rated at £12m by Lorient and the Premier League trio have all made inquiries in the past week.
The 25-year-old, who can operate as a winger or striker, first came to England as a 17-year-old to study at Hartpury College and the Nike academy and had trials with Manchester City.
He has scored 21 goals in 58 games for Lorient and has been tracked by Celtic, Brighton, and Fulham too in recent months.
He made the move to France after just a single season in Turkey, where he scored four times in 29 games for Trabzonspor.
