The 31-year-old who is currently out of contract after completing his two-year deal with China’s Shanghai SIPG, has been a subject of transfer speculation with numerous clubs intrested in the servives of the players.

Bursaspor were in poll position to secure the signature of the Captain of the Black Stars, having made a mammoth deal to land Ghana’s top scrorer.

“There have been problems with the managers related to Asamoah Gyan and now we are not interested in the deal,” he stated at the unveiling of French manager Paul Le Guen.

“We offered 1.6 million euros. Asamoah Gyan wanted more and other managers joined in [the negotiations].

“We have given up on this transfer. Two managers cannot deal with Bursaspor [on one player]. We are not interested anymore,” Ay stated.
