Aduana Stars airlifted Madagascar club Fosa Juniors to Sunyani and would later transport them by bus to Dormaa ahead of their first leg CAF Confederation Cup play-offs game on Sunday.
Fosa Juniors complained about the distance from the capital to Dormaa where they had to honour their first leg match against Aduana Stars on Sunday.
The Madagascar club had sent a complaint to CAF concerning the distance they had to travel and according to reports they had requested for the match to be played in Kumasi or Sunyani or they will not honour the game.
“We met with the GFA and Aduana officials today and all parties have agreed to play the match on Sunday at Dormaa because Aduana stars will airlift us from Accra to Sunyani and then by bus to Dormaa.
“This was reached in a meeting on Thursday afternoon.Anything less than this, we are not playing the match.
“Same will be done after the match, we have asked the GFA to issue a statement to this effect” Coach of Fosa Juniors Bob Kootwijk told Oyerepa FM.
