Medeama SC face tough matches on their CAF Confederation Cup Group stage debut after drawing MO Bejaia, Young Africans and TP Mazembe in Group B.
All three opponents of the Ghana FA Cup champions dropped out from the elite CAF Champions League.
The Tarkwa-based will be re-uniting with former coach Johannes Van der Pluijm who is now in charge of newly-crowned Tanzanian champions Young Africans.
They will also the Ghanaian quintet at last year's CAF Champions League TP Mazembe from DR Congo.
Medeama's other opponents are Algerian side MO Bejaia who eliminated Ghanaian side AshantiGold in the CAF Champions League first round qualifier.
The first round of matches will be played on 17 June.
