Asante Kotoko head coach Charles Kwabla Akunnor has revealed that his team is highly motivated ahead of their game against Nkana FC .
The Porcupine Warriors play their next game against Nkana FC in Group C’s third game which ends the first round of matches in the group.
According to the ex-Black Stars captain, his players know what is at stake and they are highly motivated to register their names into the history books of the club by securing qualification or winning the competition.
“In camp the motivation is high. The players already know what is at stake. This is their time and moment they want to make a name for themselves”
Akunnor is also taking advantage of the Confederation Cup performance of his team to enrich his Curriculum Vitae (CV) and hopes the team is able to make it to the quarter-finals of the competition.
“I am also motivated myself because this is another level for myself and my coaching career”.
Akunnor who is in his first season with the club ensured Kotoko qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time in a decade.
