CHAN 2016: No Fears - Konadu assures

Home based Black Stars Coach, Maxwell Konadu has assured Ghanaians of qualification ahead of their crucial 2016 CHAN qualifier against Ivory Coast on Friday.

The local national team arrived in Abidjan on Wednesday ahead of the encounter at the Stade Robert Camproux.

The former Asante Kotoko manager who left the capital with 18 players after dropping Premier League top scorer Kofi Owusu and Goal keeper Fatau Dauda out of the squad, is sure of a berth at the 2016 tourney to be hosted by Rwanda.

“Our main priority is to qualify to Rwanda 2016 and we only have to up our game. Our opponent’s performance is on the high so we have also intensified our training and are hoping things will go on well for us,” Maxwell Konadu revealed upon the team’s arrival in Ivory Coast.
