A pair of postponed games in the 2017 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II will be honored tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu. Games between Navy Warriors and Spartans and CYO and Reformers of Prisons will be played at the venue on the rearranged date.
The games take place on the odd league date due to heavy rain that hit the court on the original date-October 18- in midweek; this has been a common feature of this season’s Division II campaign.
However, tonight’s ties offers Navy and Reformers a big chance to improve their respective records for the season with both teams expected to win the fixtures.
Warriors ride its four game winning run to the tie against Spartans who have won just one of eight games this season and lie 12th in the 13 team standings.
Prisons on the other hand, need a win to return to the division’s top spot with Ghana Police leading by a point over Reformers who have 16 points for the season.
Up against forth placed CYO, Prisons are in for a tough fight to reclaim the top spot.
