Newly-promoted Serie A side Cagliari are still in pursuit for Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari, according to reports in Italy.
The Italian Club are set to meet the Ghanaian international next week to discuss about a possible move to the Club.
Muntari is currently a free agent after seeing out his two-year contract with Saudi Pro League giants Al Ittihad.
The midfielder is likely to return to Italy where he previously played for Udinese, Inter-Milan and AC Milan.
The former Sunderland midfielder moved to the gulf after being deemed surplus at AC Milan.
The player is currently in the country for holidays after the Saudi Premier League came to an end.
