Cape Coast Stadium to be Completed in 2015

The Minister of Youth and Sports Clement Kofi Humado says construction of the Cape Coast Stadium will start on the 13th of February 2013 after the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Chinese Company that will constructor the Stadium put pen to paper.

He told footy-ghana.com that the Multi Purpose stadium in the Central Region Capital will be financed with a Chinese Grant worth 30 Million Dollars.

“We have signed the contract with the contractors from China and they will start work early next year, is a multi purpose stadium which will have a football field, a tennis court, Volley Ball court and a Boxing training field, athlete dormitory rooms and a Gym” Honorable Clement Kofi Humado said.

The 15,000 seater Capacity Stadium which will be constructed by Jiang Xi International, is expected to be completed in 2015.
