Leicester City have given a new shirt number to Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku following his permanent transfer.
Fatawu wore number 18 last season in the Championship but will wear number 7 in the upcoming campaign.
The Ghana U-20 star signed a permanent deal with the Foxes that will see him stay at the club for the next five years.
Leicester City Football Club announced the permanent signing of the exciting young Ghanaian winger from Sporting Lisbon for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old Ghana international impressed on loan at King Power Stadium last season, helping City to the Sky Bet Championship title and promotion to the Premier League, and has now signed a five-year contract with the club.
Speaking to the club's media, the Ghanaian expressed his love for the fans, stating that he rides on their energy to give his absolute best for the club.
“I feel amazing. It’s so good to be back, and I’m just back to focus again for next season,” he said.
“With the fans, it feels so good to be with them. They always give more energy, and it gives me the motivation to do more.”
