Chelsea strenghten squad for next season

Berekum Chelsea have captured three outstanding players on the local scene to help their push for the Glo Ghana Premier League title next season.

Chelsea say they want nothing than to lift the 2010/11 Ghanaian top flight title that’s why the acquisition of these three “great players” is very crucial to the club’s future.

The players are Osei Banahene of Ashantigold, the sensational Bismark ldan of Kessben FC as well as “the one and only” Joseph Ato Bissah from Sekondi Hasaacas. Idan and Bissah are regulars of the Local Black Stars with the latter boasting the 2008/09 Glo Ghana Premier League MVP award.

According to officials of Berekum Chelsea, the addition of these three players, has renewed belief within the club that they can compete with the very best on the local scene.

They claim that the so called big guns in the Ghana league including Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko both chased but failed to get the signatures of these players.

“With these 3 great players, don’t be surprised if Chelsea win the league next season,” an official of the club told SportsInGhana.com.

We can also reveal that Obuasi Ashantigold have also signed Liberty Professionals midfielder Latif on a two year contract.
