Christian Atsu enjoying life on Merseyside

Christian has described his time at Everton as “amazing” after arriving on loan from Chelsea.

The Ghanaian international played 90 minutes against Swansea City as the Toffees were beaten 3-0 in the League Cup, and is hoping for more game time in Europe.

“It’s been amazing since I came to Everton,” he told the club’s official website. “Everyone is friendly and I’m settled with everyone now so I can just concentrate on games.

“It is very important that I already have experience [of playing in Europe] because it gives me confidence and I also think it boosts the confidence of the team.

“The Europa League is very important for everyone at Everton and it’s a big opportunity for me to prove myself as a player.”
