German-born Ghanaian defender Christopher Braun found the net in Rapid Bucuresti's 1-1 draw with Universitatea Craiova in the Romania Superliga.

Playing at the Stadionul Ion Oblemenco, Christopher Braun started and played 80 minutes, contributing significantly to his team's defense and attack.

Rapid Bucuresti took an early lead in the 18th minute when Christopher Braun capitalized on a counterattack orchestrated by Claudiu Petrila, finishing calmly to put his team ahead.

Universitatea Craiova, who dominated possession and created more chances, equalized in the 33rd minute through Alexandru Mitriță.

The equalizer came from a controversial penalty awarded after Cristi Săpunaru's challenge on Elvir Koljic, despite replays suggesting a potential handball by the Bosnian striker. However, VAR referee Cătălin Popa did not overturn the decision, allowing attacking midfielder Alexandru Mitriță to convert from the spot.
