Ghana Under-20 ace Clifford Aboagye is one of the 40 best young players in Europe, according to popular Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The list also includes Paul Pogba of Juventus, Real Madrid duo Jese Rodriguez and Rapahael Varane, Geoffrey Kondogbia of Monaco, and Julian Draxler of Schalke 04.
Aboagye, who won the bronze ball in this year’s Fifa Under- 20 World Cup in Turkey, was rated above Manquillo and Javier Torres of Atletico Madrid.
The star playmaker, who has been on the radar of Barcelona, has been outstanding for Granada in the Segunda Liga and has already been tipped for a bright future.
This is the second time a reputable sports media has named a Ghanaian in its best young players after the World Soccer Magazine named Sadick Adams as one of the top 50 players the world should look out for in 2007.
