Former Ghana U-20 star, Clifford Aboagye hopes the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League will continue after the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ghana Premier League was suspended in March due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
The resumption of the league is unknown and with CAF’s directive to all member associations on the resumption of their leagues by 5 May,2020 may see the current season cancelled.
According to the former Inter Allies player, who plays in Mexico for Club Atlas, he will be happy should the season continue after the break.
"The Ghana Premier League must continue but our health is also important”, he told Tru FM.
"I think the Ghana premier league was halted sometime back. Ghanaians were happy during when the 2019/20 season resumed”.
"I will be happy if they continue the league to declare the champion or the winner in the Ghana premier league.", he added.
